Vadim Pisarev Choreographic Mastery School.
Vadim Pisarev Choreographic Mastery School was founded in
1992. The main principle of the school is to follow in strict accordance with the
traditions and experience of the Russian Classical Choreography. School program includes
the study of ballet and theatre historic-genre/dance history. The used methodic was worked
out by the famous teacher Rostrovitskaya, and a strict selection during the enrollment and
study was entrusted to the former soloists of the high rank-Honored Artist of Ukraine
Elena Ogurtsova, Elena Kaun, Anna Starkova and Irina Pisareva.
School program foresees mastering by the students a big concest repertoire-one-act ballet performances, classical and modern items. Concert programs are staged by People’s Artist of Ukraine Vadim Pisarev and by the school teachers. The students constantly take part in the performances of Donetsk State Academic Russian Opera and Ballet Theatre. The bright evidence of the high quality of training and stage culture was the students victory on the Second International Competition “Crystal Shoe-96”. Four participants have won four prize places in the young and average age groups. In Summer 1998 the student of the school Yulia Polgorodnyk has won a bronze medal on the 6th International Competitions in Jackson, USA. On The Third Japan International Ballet and Modern Dance Competition in Nagoya, February 4-14, 1999, Yulia Polgorodnyk won a Bronze Medal and other student of the school Anna Merkulova received a certificate of participation. Artistic success and victories are much obliged to the sponsors’ help. One hundred of the mostly gifted children of Ukraine from 7 up to 16 years old have an opportunity to master the secrets of dance. There is a collective created in Donetsk, which can provide the ballet-troupes of Ukraine and the UIS (the Unit of Independent States) with young creative generations. On the 15th of May Vadim Pisarev Choreographic Mastery School will Traditionally open before young talents which want to master the dancing art at that school.
